چکیده

The use of fabrics in the form grids embedded cementitious matrices—usually termed as textile-reinforced mortar, fiber-reinforced matrix, or concrete—demonstrate a more stable performance elevated temperature conditions compared with polymers. This study investigated residual tensile properties bare yarns and mortar after exposure to 100 °C, 200 300 °C. Three different coated fabric textiles were used reinforcement: carbon, basalt, glass. Additionally, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermos-gravimetric analysis (TGA) conducted evaluate potential changes internal structure fibers mortar. cracking stress, strength, ultimate strain composite specimens increased while only carbon glass fiber retained their effectiveness up At coupons reinforced basalt deteriorated rapidly. Only counterparts showed an improved overall due contraction differences coating material. results highlight three types important role material behavior.

Residual Tensile Strength and Bond Properties of GFRP Bars after Exposure to Elevated Temperatures

The use of fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) bars in reinforced concrete members enhances corrosion resistance when compared to traditional steel reinforcing bars. Although there is ample research available on the behavior of FRP bars and concrete members reinforced with FRP bars under elevated temperatures (due to fire), there is little published information available on their post-fire residual ...

Residual Mechanical Properties of Concrete Made with Crushed Clay Bricks and Roof Tiles Aggregate after Exposure to High Temperatures

This paper presents the residual mechanical properties of concrete made with crushed bricks and clay roof tile aggregates after exposure to high temperatures. One referent mixture and eight mixtures with different percentages of replacement of natural aggregate by crushed bricks and roof tiles are experimentally tested. The properties of the concrete were measured before and after exposure to 2...

Mechanical properties of fibre reinforced polymer reinforcing bars at elevated temperatures

This paper presents the results of an experimental study of the mechanical properties of FRP reinforcement bars, used as internal reinforcement in concrete structures, at elevated temperatures. Two types of FRP bars namely: carbon fibre reinforced polyester bars of 9.5mm diameter and glass fibre reinforced polyester bars of 9.5mm and 12.7 mm diameter were used in the study. For comparison, conv...

Evaluating Residual Mechanical and Physical Properties of Concrete at Elevated Temperatures

This paper presents the results of an experimental study on the effects of elevated temperature on compressive and flexural strength of Normal Strength Concrete (NSC), High Strength Concrete (HSC) and High Performance Concrete (HPC). In addition, the specimen mass and volume were measured before and after heating in order to determine the loss of mass and volume during the test. In terms of non...
